Leisure activities in Český Krumlov in the years 1945 - 1995

The subject of this thesis is about exploring leisure activities in Český Krumlov in the years 1945-1995. This bachelor thesis is divided into some chapters. In the first chapter, I´m describing what is leisure time. In chapter two I´m writing about Český Krumlov, history of this town, church and culture. In other chapters, I´m writing about a special time period- development, culture, societies and leisure activities of Český Krumlov.
World from the point of view of the citizen in Early Modern Age

This diploma thesis covers the individual citizens' perception of suburban events in order to discuss the point of view of the early modern Czech citizen and their ability to gain information of the world around through the analysis of such suburban events that were registered in the chosen chronicles, originating between the years 1575-1600, a period that is considered "a golden age of the Czech cities". First, the background of the chroniclers is outlined, because it might have influenced the choice of events they decided to include in their works, i.e. the position of the concrete city, the level of education in the said period or the author's personal life. Second, the general knowledge of the authors is described in the thesis through the means of analysis of the type of recorded information (e.g. Turkish wars, the deaths of famous persons, wildfires, councils and the like). In other words, the thesis is to point out what type of information was considered to be the most interesting or extraordinary to the wider public, and which circles were usually covered by the chroniclers. The Memoirs of Dačický as a Source of Information about Czech Law of Early Modern Period

The thesis deals with one of the most famous sources of citychronography that were being created in Bohemia in the 16th and early 17th century. The most competent and prolific literary author of Dačický's Paměti was Mikuláš Dačický of Heslov - a very controversial figure of the KutnáHora society before the Battle of the White Mountain. Beside introducing Dačický's personality and his own experience with the judiciary of the times, the thesis goes briefly into the history of Kutná Hora in the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Times and describes the city administration and the typical course of legal proceedings as it went before the municipal court. Paměti reflect the diverse crime of the time: the thesis focuses mainly on killing - special attention is paid to the agreements on the head (smlouvy o hlavu), female crimes or suicides - further affrays, duels, slanders and questioning of somebody's impeccability, frauds, thefts and robberies. Leisure activities focusing on Czechoslovakia church in Vodňany parish between 1920 - 1945

This master thesis is focusing to free-time activities in Vodňany with taking into account religions life in this town between 1920 - 1945. In the first part it describe history of Czechoslovakia Church. The second part of work is based on terminology of free-time. Third chapter is focused to Vodňany town - to its history, culture and religion issues. In fourth chapter are describe free-time activities from their beginnings in 1920. Last chapter is focused to Czechoslovakia Church in Vodňany and its share on free-time activities in the town.
